The Norse IoT club is focused on student-led research and projects concerning Internet of Things devices and applications. We hope to foster a community for students, faculty, alumni, and industry professionals who are enthusiastic about the opportunities IoT has to offer.
The purpose and objectives of the club are to:
Club members will create hands-on projects with a variety of technologies, such as microcontrollers, sensors, networks, motion, and visual displays.
Students from all courses of study at ÎÞÂë×¨Çø are welcome. No technical experience required. The club prioritizes projects that are transdisciplinary, because IoT touches every aspect of lives.

Personal
I was born and raised in Northampton, PA about 50 miles northwest of Philadelphia. I live in Kentucky with my wife and daughter. I am an avid collector of pinball machines.
Professional
I have a MS in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology specializing in power systems and power electronics. I also have an MBA from the University of Chicago. I have over 25 years of industry experience in informatic technology including, utilities, IT service providers and retail, and enjoy sharing my successes, failures, and many stories with students. I enjoy teaching all aspects of computer science especailly those focused on programming.
